Michaelle's Walk 2007

Michaelle’s Walk, our annual walk-a-thon benefiting Fraternity House and Michaelle House, San Diego County’s only two residential homes caring for men and women disabled by AIDS will be held this year on Saturday May 19. See our main page for details. This event is named in honor of Michaelle Liddell, one of the first women in San Diego to speak out about her HIV status and become an AIDS activist. Enjoy a beautiful late morning ocean view walk along the coast in Carlsbad, and meet special guests, supporters, and the residents and staff of Fraternity House The walk is followed by picnic lunch and entertainment, including music, children’s activities, and more. Michaelle’s Walk begins and ends at Magee Park, 258 Beech Avenue, Carlsbad, CA (cross street Carlsbad Blvd.)

The complete walk is less than 5 miles, or you can catch the shuttle back to the park. Walk as an individual, with family and friends or form a team. All funds donated by individuals and sponsors will directly benefit women and men suffering with AIDS in our community. Usually scheduled on a Saturday, registration is at 10:00 a.m., walk to begin at 11:00 a.m.
