The People Behind Fraternity House
For many years, Fraternity House, Inc. has successfully developed and administered very effective AIDS housing, care and supportive service programs, and we continuously monitor, evaluate and enhance our programs to meet the changing needs of the men and women disabled by AIDS in our care. Our programs are supported by a highly competent administrative and managerial staff, and a dedicated team of compassionate and competent caregivers for each home.
Marie is responsible for supervising the House Managers and other key staff members, and reports to the Board of Directors. She has been a valuable volunteer serving as Development Manager for Fraternity House for years and is intimately experienced in its operations. Marie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications-Public Relations, and has a background in marketing, information technology and elder care. She volunteered with AIDS Service Foundation and AIDS Walk Orange County for over ten years before moving to the San Diego area five years ago. Link here to learn more in a local news report.
House Managers:
Fraternity House - Gloria "June" Morgan is a Certified Nursing Assistant and has managed the housing, meals and care programs at Fraternity House for more than seven years. Frank Wilcox holds a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; he served as the Assistant Manager at Fraternity House for one year before being promoted to Michaelle House Manager in 1997. June and Frank supervise the 24 hour caregiving and nutritional staff, and are supported by an Assistant House Manager. They are both highly capable, and their ability and exemplary performance are reflected by the excellent results of our yearly licensing inspections.
Michaelle House - Brooks Ponto is another of our highly qualified managers, constantly montioring the care and facilities of Michaelle House. He explains about caring for the home's residents - "This is their home and they deserve to live in a place they can be proud to call home." |
